Lindsay yanked the IV needle out and stormed out of the hospital room. Standing outside the door were two bodyguards, probably sent by Tyler to protect her. But she didn't need protection anymore.

One of the bodyguards asked, "Ms. Lindsay, where are you headed?"

"It's stuffy in here. I'm just stepping out for some fresh air."

They were there to guard her, not to babysit, so going downstairs was perfectly fine. But Lindsay had no intention of just getting fresh air. She left the hospital altogether, driven by a burning desire for revenge against Maggie. Her brother's death was a wound that refused to heal.

She wandered the streets for half an hour, her mind a whirlwind, when she spotted Maggie by sheer chance. Maybe it was fate, or perhaps her brother guiding her from beyond. There was Maggie, stripped of her former elegance, looking disheveled and lost amidst the busy downtown.

Maggie was sitting outside a bustling mall, blending into the crowd of shoppers who barely noticed her. Who would have thought the once-proud Maggie would disguise herself as a beggar in such a posh district?

Lindsay watched her from a distance, then walked into a nearby store and bought a knife. Her heart pounded as she approached Maggie.

Maggie, oblivious to the danger, sat there smugly, convinced that Marlon's people would never find her. Her confidence shattered when she heard footsteps and someone calling her name.

"Maggie."

She barely had time to react before a knife slashed across her throat. Blood sprayed, and the crowd erupted into screams.

Lindsay wiped Maggie's blood from her face, a manic determination driving the knife into Maggie again and again. Maggie died never understanding how she was found or why she had to die so disgracefully.
