Randy blinked. "Wait a second. Erica and I had our kid ages ago, and he didn't send anything. These definitely aren't for me."

Debra faltered, "Maybe they are for us."

Randy rubbed his chin. "How does Drake even know you're pregnant? You found out just two days ago."

Debra blinked. "Didn't you see? Marion posted it on his socials."

Randy whipped out his phone. Sure enough, Marion's feed had just two posts: one announcing his marriage to Debra, and the other a blurry ultrasound picture of the baby.

"Man, don't you have any sense?" Randy said seriously. "You don't tell people about a pregnancy of three months. It's bad luck. Stuff can go wrong."

The plate in Marion's hand slipped and crashed to the floor.

His reaction told Randy that he was clueless. Otherwise, he wouldn't have blasted the news all over social media the second he found out.

"You seriously didn't know?" Randy asked. "I thought you received the training."

"The baby books didn't mention it," Marion mumbled.

Randy facepalmed. He could have searched online, but Marion was still living in the last century.

"Chill out, it's not a big deal," Debra chimed in. "I'm in a good headspace. The baby will be fine."

The guy scratched his head, looking sheepish. "Uh... He wondered if he could be the baby's godfather."

"No way. I'm the godfather." Randy jumped in.

"Sure, why not?" Debra grinned. "You can both be godfathers."

"What about me?" Jordan strolled in. "If they're godfathers, I'll be the uncle."

Debra and Randy spotted the stack of baby supplies behind him.

Jordan blinked. "I might have shown up a little late."
