Solomon smacked her hand. "Don't mess with other people's stuff."

"I'm his niece. He won't mind it." She shrugged but closed the bottle anyway.

Jordan mumbled something, and she leaned over. "What?"

Maybe because they'd talked too much about the past, Jordan's mind drifted to when he joined the army.

In the army, he was cut off from the outside world. He didn't know how Debra was doing.
