"What's going on?" everyone murmured, completely bewildered by the sudden turn of events.

Anastasia, however, simply smiled and glanced past Logan. "They're here?"

Logan lowered his head respectfully. "Yes. Mr. Harrison Lancaster heard you were short-staffed, so he personally arranged for some people to come over. They’re at your disposal."

He continued, "They've all been briefed on the company's situation and are familiar with the basics of Unison Pharma Ltd. As soon as you give the word, they can start immediately."

Anastasia already knew about the arrangements, so Logan didn't need to be so detailed. His words, while seemingly directed at her, were clearly meant for everyone else in the room.

The employees who had been packing their things stared in shock.

What did this mean? Had this Anastasia girl really brought in outsiders to replace them?

Just moments ago, they had been smugly waiting for Anastasia to beg them to stay. Now, faced with this new development, they were at a loss, their eyes darting toward Regan for guidance.

But Regan was staring intently at the group behind Logan, his eyes narrowed as if trying to confirm something.

"Mr. Frost?" one of his subordinates whispered.

Regan snapped back to reality and let out a cold laugh. "So, Miss Anastasia, you're saying you brought these people here?"

Without waiting for her to reply, he sneered, "If I'm not mistaken, isn't that Mr. Quinn, the CEO of YuC Electronics? Everyone in the city has to treat Mr. Quinn with the utmost respect, yet you claim he's here to take orders from you?"

"Hah! What a ridiculous boast. Be careful you don't bite off more than you can chew!"
