After expressing her thoughts, Lemira went upstairs. Asher was left in the living room, seething with anger and feeling deeply embarrassed by Lemira's straightforward words. Evelina took the opportunity to speak, "Asher, don't be upset."

Evelina was furious, looking to Lucian for support, but he said, "I think Caspian has a point. You should have some self-respect. The Draven family is beyond your reach." Evelina's eyes filled with tears, but Lucian, Caspian, and Alaric all left her alone. No one defended her, and no one cared. Evelina began to think her father was right.
