I saw Natalia again one day, a year later. Edward had forgotten something at the office, so I waited for him downstairs. While waiting, I happened to spot Natalia on the street, clutching several job ads in her hands. When she saw me, she stared with a fierce, hateful look, her gaze piercing. After a few seconds, she disappeared into the crowd.

I sighed at the sight of her but didn't think much of it, continuing to wait for Edward. Suddenly, Natalia appeared out of nowhere, charging at me with a fruit knife in her hand.

"Kate, I'm sending you to hell!" she screamed.

I froze, holding my breath in shock. But she didn't get the chance to harm me. The bodyguards quickly subdued her, pinning her down despite her struggles.

She snarled at me with a twisted expression, shouting, "Kate, you filthy wretch! Why do you get to be the billionaire's wife? Why?"

"You ruined my life—I went to prison because of you, and now I can't even find a job!"

I squatted down and lifted her chin.

Just a few days after Natalia was imprisoned, Jack came to our home, kneeling on the ground and begging Edward for another chance. Edward barely glanced at him before having him thrown out, warning him that any attempt to return or harm me would be met with consequences. Jack seemed to understand and didn't show up again.

Everyone who had wronged me received the punishment they deserved. And as for those relatives who only cared about their own interests, I decided to cut ties with them for good.

Edward and I returned to our normal lives. Soon after, we got married and built our own happy little family.
