I quickly turned around and smiled when I saw my perfect mate in front of me. Xander wore a small, almost nervous, smile on his face as he was looking down at me.
"Hey. What's up?" I questioned happily. I saw his adams apple bob up and down as he swallowed and to my surprise raised his hand up and rubbed the back of his neck. I frowned at Xanders sudden nervous behavior before speaking up again.
"Xander?" I questioned. He took in a deep breath, nodded his head and took my hand in his.
"Go on a date with me?" He questioned sounding confident but I could see the slight unease in his eyes. My breath caught in my throat as soon as the words processed in my mind and I heard my wolf yipping with glee. Xander was looking incredibly nervous, rubbing the back of his neck and looking down at the ground.
"I mean you dont have to, you can say no. Ah never mind it was stupid to-" But before he could continue with his nervous rambling I stood up on my tippy toes and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
"I would love to." I answered honestly as I gave him a large smile. Xander sighed in relief before swooping down and pecking my lips again.
"Great. Ill pick you up at six." He stated before smiling and walking away, leaving me feeling giddy and excited.
..
As I stood in front of my full length mirror I couldn't help but to smile at my reflection. My long, waist length, black hair had been loosely curled and it cascaded down my back while my makeup was naturally done with only a slight touch of mascara, eye liner, blush and clear lip gloss. My outfit consisted of a beautiful white dress overlaid with lace that loosely hugged the top part of my body but flared out at my waist and stopped just above the knees, with a cream colored unbuttoned sweater over it.
I wore a pair of medium brown, heeled ankle boots on my feet that added a few inches to my short heighth. All in all I thought I looked great. I sucked in nervous breath as I heard the door bell ring and suddenly my moms voice was heard through the house.
"Paisley! Xanders here." My mom shouted loudly even though I would have heard her even if she was talking normaly. I smoothed out my dress before sighing and slowly walking out my door and down the stairs. When I reached the bottom step I saw that my mom and my dad were both waiting for me with huge smiles on there faces.
"Honey you look beautiful!" My mom gushed as she rushed forward and took me into her arms. I laughed lighty and hugged her back. When I pulled away I saw a few tears in her eyes with caused me to laugh louder.
"Dont cry mom, Im just going on a date." I said with a giggle. Mom rolled her eyes while whipping away tears.
"Where are we going?" Was the first question out of my mouth incense had pulled onto the main road. Xander let out a chuckle and glanced over to me with a smirk.
"Its a surprise." He answered which made me groan.
"I hate surprises!" I whined like a child which made Xander burst into laughter and made me to pout.
"Come on dont be a baby." Xander cooed but I simply stuck my tongue out at him which made him laugh and after a few seconds I couldn't help but join in. The rest the ride consisted of trying to get the location out of Xander but everytime he refused to tell.
Finally after what seemed like forever we pulled up to a big building. I frowned and looked around but once I saw the sign a giant smile lit up my face.
"Ice skating! I've never been ice skating before! Lets go!" I ushered Xander as I jumped out of the car. Xander chuckled but quickly climbed out of the car rushed to catch up with me.
