A Possessive Mate novel Chapter 4

"Dylan!" she pushed through the doors and ran towards me. "What are you doing here?" Sera reached to touch him but I grabbed her back and clutched her close to me. She slapped my chest and tried to get out of my arms, but I was not going to let that happen.

"Sera!" Dylan tried to get up but my beta put silver handcuffs on his wrists and shoved him towards the direction of the border's jail.

"Nate," my eyes softened towards Sera as she whimpered up at me. "Can you let him go?"

"Who is he to you?" I asked her while stroking her cheek.

"He was my umm," Sera looked down.

"Your what?"

"My boy...friend," once she said that I growled and mind linked my beta.

Don't be gentle with him, put him in jail 007. Jail 007 was one of our new upgraded cells that were lined with silver and scented with wolf-bane.

Of course alpha.

"You have to let him go," she begged me and looked up at me with her adorable blue eyes. "He's someone very close to me."

"That's exactly why I won't let you go near him," I tried to calm down my temper, but my eyes still flashed black.

"Nate, you can't hurt him," she cried and my heart broke a little right there. But, she was not going to go near a man who lusted after her.

"No," I said firmly. "I will take you up to our bedroom and you will stay there. That.. friend of yours is a rogue and will remain in the jail until I say otherwise."

"You can't do this!"

"I'm the alpha dear, I can do whatever I want."

"I will hate you forever for this!"

"I don't need you to love me, I just need you beside me." She pushed herself out of my arms and wiped her tears away. Seeing her like this hurt my heart, but I had to protect her.

Sera's POV

20 minutes into the meeting, the glass doors of the meeting room opened and my jaw dropped. I saw my mate dressed up in an outfit that made me want to cover her and lock her up.

My eyes flashed black and I clenched my fists when I saw 3 of my warriors staring at her with lust in their eyes.

"Hi Natey-Matey," she wiggled her fingers at me like she was waving. "Like my outfit?"

"Leave!" I growled loudly at all the other men in the room.

"No, they can stay," Sera smirked at me and stood there, in all her glory, hardly realizing the fact that I was about to shift because I was so angry.

The men left quickly, noticing my anger, and once they left, my mate strutted up to me and ran her hands down my chest.

"Heyyy honey," she purred and pushed her cleavage in my face.

"Sera," I looked down at her and my wolf kept telling me to mate with her. "What are you doing?"

"Something," she whispered and linked her arms around my neck. She rubbed against me and put her lips close to my mouth. She leaned in closer and closer, until I could feel her soft breaths against my lips.
