Sylvia shot Linnea a puzzled look. Did these people honestly need Linnea’s permission to date? Still, she wisely kept her mouth shut, worried Linnea might explode right there beside her.

“Don’t be upset—here, drink some water.” Sylvia quickly poured a glass and slid it across the table. “Getting worked up just hurts yourself. You’re letting them get under your skin for no reason.”
