Chapter 716

“I can‘t help it. Just look at all of the people I care about, people who are near and dear to me, my parents, Jace... even Yale,” said Sage. Before Sage could say anything else, Tim rasped the top of Sage‘s head firmly. “Don‘t be stupid, nothing you said was true.”

Sage lowered her head, her arms wrapped tightly around herself. Sage for some reason felt cold and alone.

Tim hugged his sister and slowly pat her head trying his best to console his sister.

“You‘re our star, The amount of happiness you bring us has been unparalleled. Don‘t ever forget that,” said Tim.

Both Zachary and Henry did not forget what they were sent here to do. They followed Wayne wherever he went and tried their best to sweet talk Wayne into forgiving their fathers.

However, Wayne was unmoved by these two youngsters. “I said I quit. There‘s no way I‘m going back!” said Wayne in between puffs of smoke. “Don‘t do this to us, Master Wayne. We were told that if we didn‘t succeed in bringing you

back, there would be dire consequences waiting for us back at home,” begged Zachary.

Henry also nodded at the side.

“If so, you‘re more than welcomed to stay at my home and not go back,” said Sage as she entered through the doorway.
