"So, you want to retaliate?"
"Is that not allowed?" Tanya huffed. She genuinely wanted to teach that vile woman a brutal lesson.
"It is! I'll just have my people take care of her for you," Starla offered casually.
"Wait, seriously? Just like that?"
"What? Did you want to waste your energy cooking up some elaborate scheme to outmaneuver her?" There was absolutely no need to overcomplicate things.
Tanya paused. Scheming against Yulisa did sound exhausting, and it wasn't really her style anyway. "So you're just going to... handle her?" Tanya asked hesitantly. Was she serious? It felt like ever since Starla had gone to Yoran Country, she had become incredibly decisive and ruthless.
"Yes, I'll help you."
"Is it really a good idea to be so direct?"
"What exactly are you worried about?" Starla challenged.
"Darian..."
"You're leaving him anyway. Are you seriously worried he's going to scold you over Yulisa? You don't need to care about his feelings anymore."
"So what's stopping you?"
Starla was right. Tanya had been holding onto some instinctual reservations, but now that Starla had laid it all out, there was literally nothing holding her back. She didn't need to care about any of the fallout.
"Do it!" Tanya agreed firmly.
It was exactly as Starla said. Her relationship with Darian was completely dead. She had no intention of ever looking back. If she caused a massive scene, maybe Darian would decide she was too toxic to keep around and finally let her go. Thinking about it from that angle, Starla's straightforward, ruthless approach was absolutely brilliant.
"She called Darian earlier, claiming someone drugged her drink, and begged him to pick her up," Tanya relayed the information.
"Perfect. I'll have my people pick her up instead," Starla said coolly. This made things even easier. The only difficulty would have been if Yulisa was sitting safely at home. If she was actively creating an opening for them to strike, they would gladly take it.
Tanya hummed in agreement, and Starla ended the call.
