He'd come to me in three days.

When I got home, Benjamin was waiting outside my apartment.

He rushed at me the second he saw me.

"Sophia, I was wrong! It was just a fling with Jessica. I love you!"

"I messed up, but please, give me another chance!"

I shoved him away.

"Get out of here, or I'm calling the cops!"

"Sophia, please! I can't live without you!"

"Can't live without me, or my money?"

I sneered.

"Benjamin, if you don't disappear right now, I swear—"

I pulled a pocketknife from my bag and lunged at him.

He stumbled back, hands up.

"Okay, okay! I'm leaving! Don't do anything crazy!"

I kept advancing until he finally got into the elevator.

Once he was gone, I slipped the knife back into my bag and went inside.

That night, I printed out the explicit photos of Benjamin and Jessica and plastered them all over the entrance of her office.

I even brought a speaker and played a pre-recorded message on loop:

"Jessica Taylor has no shame, stealing other women's husbands."

"If you've got a man, watch out!"

Coworkers gathered around, whispering as they stared at the photos.

"Oh my God, is that Jessica?"

"Ew, she's disgusting."

"Who knew she was like this behind closed doors?"

"No wonder I always felt something was off between her and Mr. Thompson…"

The crowd grew, and the comments got louder.

When Jessica finally limped into work, a female coworker spat, "Homewrecker!"

"You're spreading lies about me at my job? Are you insane?"

"These photos are fake! All of it's fake!"

How could she prove the photos were fake?

Jessica didn't want to be the office laughingstock.

She grabbed my hair and tried to drag me out the door.

But I wasn't going anywhere.

I wanted everyone to see exactly who Jessica really was.

I yanked myself free and slapped her across the face.

The sound echoed through the room.

Everyone turned to stare.

Jessica clutched her cheek, humiliated.

As she raised her hand to hit me back, a voice boomed across the office.

"Jessica!"
