Lily picked up Sandy's cell phone, her voice was like expired honey, sweet but poisonous. "Sandy, Grace called you several times just now, from emergency numbers. Do you think something's happened to her?"
"What could she be up to?" Sandy sneered.
"I guess it's because I dislike my lair is too shabby, so I ran out of the nobleman's lair, this kind of petulant princess has simply thrown away the werewolf's tradition!!!"
Lily on the surface looked terrified, but the bottom of the eyes is a little smug.
"It won't be because of me, you put sister sister's phone number to me, I apologize to her face to face!" Said, she also whispered and sobbed.
Sandy took out a tissue and gently wiped Lily's tears.
"She was too willful, it's none of your business."
Sandy returned to his right side, gripped the tissue tightly in his right hand, pulled out his cell phone from his side pocket, and stared thoughtfully at the phone.
I curiously looked, the screen is my last text message.
I'm leaving. Wish you happiness, do not disturb, do not miss.
Sandy's fingers danced over the screen, a soft chuckle escaping his lips as he typed.
"Where are you going? Go cry to Luna? Grace, you're not a puppy anymore, can you stop tattling to Luna every time there's a problem?"
Before he could finish typing, the driver slammed on the brakes.
The sudden jolt sent both Sandy and Lily flying forward, caught off guard by the force.
Lily let out an indignant shriek, "Can you drive properly? I almost hit my head!"
Sandy flung open the car door and rushed out, too preoccupied to retrieve his phone that had fallen beneath the seat.
The last message, still unfinished, blinked on the screen.
"This is your so-called ‘urgent mission'?" the Beta roared. "You leave the public to burn while you play house with a girl who uses depression as an excuse for attention?"
Sandy froze. The weight of the accusation hung heavy in the air. "I'm not meddling in your personal life, but this is work time! Can't you keep your games behind closed doors?"
The Beta continued, voice rising. "And for Moon Godness's sake, you're Grace's mate, You are about to complete your mating ritual! It's time to get your priorities straight!"
Sandy didn't answer, and stole another glance at my body.
He stiffly stepped forward and carefully observed the bracelet on my corpse's wrist.
In the end, he found nothing. His expression settled down and he focused on his work.
But he probably forgot that this bracelet was our love token.
I never took it off until I died.
