He kissed me as he continued to pound inside me. He looked at me as if I was the most desirable woman he'd ever seen. There was no one else I could want this bad—only him.

It was already nine o'clock in the morning when I woke up, and Adam's arms were still wrapped around my waist. Though incredibly exhausted and sore, I felt great for the first time in years. His face was buried in my hair. We were having sex nonstop, and if it weren't for my exhaustion, he probably wouldn't stop.

"What time is it?" Adam whispered, finally awake.

"It's nine."

"Then, I'm late." He gave me a tender kiss on my forehead, then swiftly stepped out of the bed. Still undressed, he walked straight to the bathroom, letting the blanket fall on the floor, revealing his round, full butt I'd been gripping with my palms all night. He was ridiculously sexy. I couldn't get enough of him. My insides were beginning to flare up again.

He disappeared into the bathroom for several minutes, and then he came back dressed in a tailored charcoal gray suit.

"Where are you going?" I asked. Gee, I was hoping for another round.

"I need to be in Manhattan by three. Do you want to go back with me? It'll save you time," he suggested.

"I can't leave my boss here. He still has something to do until noon. Are you going to meet your ex-in-laws when you get back?"

"Yes, darling. I have to. As soon as I land, I'll go straight to them," he explained, then sat on the bed. "I can't waste any more time. I have to tell them about my plans."

"I understand. You have to settle everything with them."

"Yes, and whether I like it or not, I still owe them. I already told you about it. I just wanted to make it formal. I have to give up my Thailand site."

I suddenly felt guilty. It wasn't just another branch. Even if he won't admit it, I knew it meant much to him. "The Thailand site is your baby. It was your first overseas expansion. I'm so sorry that you have to make this choice."

What I wanted from him wasn't simple. I made a mistake, I admit it.

He touched my cheeks. "Don't worry. I'd rather lose it than another year of misery. I couldn't make a choice back then, but now that you are here, you are always my first to everything."

"But it's your sweat and blood. Is this your plan? Bianca's parents wanted the Thailand site in exchange for your freedom? I can't believe it. You didn't sleep night and day just to—"

"It's alright. Calm down, okay?"

"Can't you just pay them back?"

"It's never about the money. I'm sure you know that. This is how things work in this industry. It's all about name and reputation."

"This is so unfair." I shook my head then looked down. "It's all my fault."

"Darling, it's not your fault. I made the wrong decision of choosing them as business partners."

"I'm still so sorry."

He smiled sweetly. He leaned closer then kissed my lips. "I still have New York, Paris, Tokyo, and London, and later on, Seoul. It's just one site, baby."

I forced a smile. "You said it as if it's so simple." I exhaled. "I guess I'll just see you in Manhattan."

"Okay. I'll see you tonight, then."

I kissed him once more, then I stepped out of bed and picked up my clothes. I started putting them on. I needed a bath. I smelled like sex.

"Wait." He clasped my hand as I was about to put my panties on.

"What?"

"Why don't you stay for a bit?" His eyes gleamed. He rubbed his hands against my lower back.

I chuckled softly. "You'll ruin your clothes."

He groaned. "I don't mind." He pressed me to him.

"… And I'm still sore, you know."

"Don't worry, darling. I don't want you to be late, so I'll be very quick."

He didn't give me a chance to answer; he pressed his lips on mine. I curled my arms around his neck and kissed him back. I parted his mouth with my tongue. I bit his lip a little, then thrust my tongue again into his mouth.

"Hmm…" he groaned deliciously, then he backed an inch away. "What are you doing?"

"I have many things in mind." I giggled.

"Like what?"

"I said many things, but since we don't have much time, I'd rather do this first."

I got on my knees, and I started unbuckling his belt. His shaft grew hard.

"Julia…"

"Maybe I just don't really want to ruin your suit."

"Then you'd rather ruin my trousers?"

"Maybe…"

I unzipped his pants then I pulled his pants and his underwear down. Then, I touched the base of his shaft. He felt hot and ready as ever. I bit my lower lip. He was so beautiful—every part of him was enthralling.

I teased him by tasting the tip. He was a bit salty and sweet.

"You're going to be the death of me," he uttered under his breath and took a handful of my hair.

"Do you want this?" I stroked his base with my fingers. I could never get enough of him.

He grunted, closing his eyes.

"I'll be gentle."

"I don't want you to be gentle right now."

"I love you," I whispered.

"I love you."

I SHOWED up at my boss's doorstep as soon as I left Adam's suite. Luke narrowed his eyes at me when he opened the door.
