Chapter 1726: Reunions And Punches

Another one of the latest things Alterra was known for was the cure for the powder addiction.

The materials were grown in the farm and were relatively easy to make for pharmacists, and they also gave discounts to associated territories.

In the past weeks, it was said that nearly half of the affected in the associated territories had been treated. The nobles and some mercenaries knew first-hand how the powders affected judgment and had become advocates for the medicine in their respective territories, as well.

Some had weaker relatives more deeply affected, too, to the point that some of them had to be tied up in rooms to be detained. For those people, the cure was an elfsent.

It also helped that both Flaret and Voumi were extremely affected by this, so when people checked on them and found out how the pandemic affected everything, they received clearer views of its effects and the power of the treatments.

From this, individuals knew that Alterra’s influence had expanded so much in such a short time that people felt imbalanced.

What they had yet to truly comprehend, as of now, was that the entire Terran Region had become completely unified with this victory, with various allies and subsidiaries, including Bright and Belluga, taking down the remaining uncooperative Terran villages North in the past few weeks.

There must be several tens—if not hundreds—of thousands of Terrans already lost to North aborigine territories now, and they hoped to stop those losses as soon as possible, and everyone cooperated with an understanding of this.

What was the most amazing, though, was that the unification was more than just the Terran territories, but also connected to the territories outside of it.

After all, they were now surrounded by Towns that were also under or closely allied with Alterra. There was Ferrol in the South, Basset in the East, Flaret in the North, and—finally—Voumi in the East.

This created an expanded region of tightly knit territories that would amaze anyone aware of it. Most Cities might have broader territories than this, but did they have such intimate connections with the villages in between?

That was only Alterra, and that was something never before seen in this world’s history.

With the unification of the region, travel across the area had also become much easier, safer, and more convenient.

Alterra also began to expand its road networks as well, and started supporting other territories from doing the same. It was a long work-in-progress, but it was estimated to expand to a few more territories within the following weeks.

This also meant there were more and more reunions happening all over.

First, there was Gian and Samantha. Gian had now been pardoned from his initial betrayal by virtue of saving so many people, including a great assist in the Flaret war.

As for the Oath he had to take after the Fargo-Alterra war, it was simply overwritten. As long as the parties between the oaths agreed to it, this was allowed. Circumstances change, after all.

Gian was able to gain his citizenship in Alterra by virtue of his massive contribution points, and then the guards told him exactly where to find his sister.

His feet moved so quickly that he practically disappeared from sight.

Samantha, at the time, was in the large garden outside the orphanage when he saw her. She was sitting under the shadows of a large tree with a wide canopy, along with several kids, who were sitting in front of her.

It seemed like she was doing a storytelling session, and the children were all closely listening to her stories.

She was passionately acting the scenes too, which elicited chuckles and laughter among the little crowd.
