Chapter 2049: Misunderstandings on the Road

The next few hours were standard travel. They moved forward as a group, with the mercenaries and guards dealing with the mobs on their side.

Garan was already used to this, and his metal spear was pretty much floating around him, also parallel in the forest.

Since they were coming from a level 2 town, the monsters naturally weren’t weak, and they encountered a number of level 20 monsters here and there.

Althea’s level was perfect for these, so when the couple sensed monsters of this level, he and Althea would disappear from the group to handle it, leaving the slightly weaker mobs to attack the group.

Their current awakened state allowed them to have hyper awareness of a wide area. It could be said that they were better at this compared to powerhouses ten levels above them.

Anyway, the couple went all over the place, specifically battling monsters that could give her points.

At night, when camping, especially when the others saw the couple living well with their tent and a cooking tool that could produce fire on its own, a lot of people couldn’t quite stomach it.
