Chapter 2170: Against a Beast

At some point, Althea noticed that her husband’s eyes had started to sparkle, obviously excited with finding a good sparring partner.

At his level of skill, only the Golds or those at that level of skill could pose a challenge to him. The Golds had also consumed a lot of aether crystals for them to grow so strong, so fighting with Virion—who had consumed minimal crystals—probably had a different sort of excitement.

The Golds also weren’t as harsh and ruthless as Virion was. With Virion, he could let go of all bloodthirstiness, allowing him to be as brutal as possible.

It seemed to be the same for his opponent.

"I’ve never seen my brother enjoy a fight as much as now," the Lord said as he stood next to her.

His tone gave the impression of an adult referring to his troublesome and rebellious kid finding another kid to befriend, which amused Althea very much.

BANG!

SMACK!

The two tacitly chose to jump over the wall and take their fight outside, wherein they also caused a number of collateral damage, including a level 40 beast!!

Beasts around level 40 were not that commonplace even in cities, but they could basically only be found in Cities. Today, a number of them had the fortune of being near the walls.

Whether they were lucky or not, at some point during the spar, the bloody fight attracted several beast mobs, one of which was led by a level 40 beast.

...

This dead level 40 beast (among others) was then dragged inside the walls to supplement the celebratory feast being held in the villa.

"MY GOOD BROTHER! HAVE THIS DRINK! I’ve been saving it up! Having a great sparring partner is so refreshing! Pah!" he said, taking a big gulp of his beer.

Speaking of which, Warrior City makes surprisingly good beer.

Apparently, some ’herbivore’ orcs had the talent for making fermented drinks. She tried to recall the orcs whose status she peered into back on the other side. She tried to recall if there was someone with similar skills.

Basically, the skill had to do with hastening the ripening and/or fermentation of a plant. The herbivore was experimenting and found the taste of fermented fruit rather fascinating.

Warrior City was ultimately a City and it was a hodgepodge of experts. Though it was ignored and counted as useless for the first few decades of the orc’s life, eventually, this talent was discovered, and the orc was hired to create batch after batch of drinks.

That said, it was a bit capitalist with the orc just getting a fixed salary for the work done, but to each their own. They might just mention it to Valhalla later, giving the orc a bit more benefits for a good job done.

Add employee benefits, so to speak.

"How is your trip?" The Lord asked, causing many people to turn to them. "I haven’t even gotten close to the wall. Have you reached it?"

Althea nodded and smiled. However, she took note not to make things too interesting.

Althea looked at the other orcs. "It’s a very long story," she said. "I’d like to consolidate the information first before sending it out."
