The door crashed, shattering into pieces, startling Angelina, Harvey, and Linda.
The sudden noise caught their attention, and as they turned, they saw several men entering. To their surprise, one of them was smirking at Angelina—it was James.
"J-James?" Angelina stammered, looking at him in shock.
Snapping out of surprise, Linda quickly asked, "Mr. Chapman, what brings you here?"
However, her attempt to interject was brushed aside by James, who turned his attention to the man behind him. "Cohen, this is the residence of that worthless man."
Upon hearing this, Cohen's voice boomed, "Aiden! Show yourself!"
The revelation of Aiden's name surprised Linda and the others.
Angelina quickly concluded that James must be here to cause trouble for Aiden due to the incident at the banquet.
"Mr. Chapman, Aiden isn't here!" Linda hurriedly assured.
James sneered as he glanced at Linda. "Where else could that good-for-nothing possibly be at this hour if not here? Don't try to hide him; I won't fall for any tricks!"
"Mr. Chapman, Aiden is not here," Linda insisted.
James turned around and scanned the living room. Then, he directed his subordinates, "Search this place!"
Harvey, visibly upset, confronted James as he took a step forward. "What do you think you're doing? You're trespassing in my house! Leave immediately, or I'll call the police!"
James' subordinate sneered and coldly retorted, "Just get lost!" With a forceful shove, he sent Harvey tumbling to the ground, where his head collided with the steps, resulting in a bleeding wound.
"Stop! James, what is the meaning of this?" Angelina exclaimed.
James smirked and replied, "Relax, darling. Your turn will come later."
"You… I'll report you to the authorities for this!" she declared and took out her phone. However, he swiftly snatched it away from her.
He shot her a malicious look. "You're not seeing the whole picture here," he said with a sly grin.
Linda, initially frightened, quickly approached James and exclaimed, "Mr. Chapman, Aiden isn't home. If you're looking for him, check the medical center on Vermilion Avenue. That's where he is!"
At that moment, James' subordinate descended the stairs and informed him, "Mr. Chapman, he isn't here!"
"I never thought that worthless man would own a medical center!" Cohen frowned and suggested, "Come on, let's go. We'll head to Vermilion Avenue!"
"Cohen, slow down! Since that worthless man isn't here, we can't just walk away empty-handed, right?" After uttering this, James shot Angelina a smug look, then turned to his subordinate, instructing, "Take her away!"
Linda hastily positioned herself before James, pleading desperately, "No, Mr. Chapman. This matter has nothing to do with my daughter."
"Don't worry, Auntie Linda. I won't harm her. Remember how you wanted me to be your son-in-law at the banquet? Well, tonight, I'm here to make that happen." James laughed heartily.
In response, Angelina exclaimed, "James, don't even think about it!"
Upon hearing this, Linda swiftly positioned herself in front of Angelina and declared loudly, "I challenge anyone to lay a hand on my daughter!"
James sneered. "Anyone trying to stop me will regret it!"
At his words, the bodyguards menacingly advanced toward Angelina. Linda tried to intervene, but she was slapped and pushed aside by one of the bodyguards.
Seeing her mother being slapped, Angelina cried out, "Mom!"
"Got it!" After ending the call, Aiden quickly left the medical center in a blur of motion. Instead of starting his car, he smoothly ascended through the building's upper floors with agile movements. Navigating swiftly between buildings, his figure moved so quickly that he outpaced any vehicle on the road.
At the South Haven warehouse, Angelina lay unconscious on the office lounge bed.
James cast a lustful glance at her curvaceous figure, his eyes filled with covetous desire.
"James, step out for a second!" Jordan called out from the door.
James hesitated and walked out. When he saw Jordan, he asked, "What's up, Jordan? Can't it wait?"
Jordan frowned and asked, "Why did you bring her back?"
James responded indifferently, "What's the matter? Can't we talk about it later? After all, I'm going to kill that b*stard. So, I might as well have some fun with her in the process."
"James, it's not that simple. If someone dies in a martial arts brawl, the police won't bat an eye. But when it involves regular people, it's a whole different ball game. Things could get out of hand," Jordan warned with a frown.
James dismissed it with a wave. "Jordan, you're overthinking. I found out they were once part of Gray Enterprise but got expelled by Mason. Nobody cares about their fate now. Let's handle them together—just three more people."
He smiled and added, "I've never been this drawn to someone. Come on, let me enjoy myself a bit."
Jordan sighed, glancing at James. "Just this once."
"Thanks, Jordan!" James responded with a smile.
Upon James' return to the office, Angelina regained consciousness. Startled, she saw him entering while undressing.
"What on earth are you doing?" she shouted.
