"You promised."

My wolf was on the prowl. We can kill her! She is of no use to us anymore. My human side knew that I couldn't do it. She used to be one of my best friends. I have time to save her sanity. I can't give up on her.

At that moment in time when our eyes meant I saw Grace. Her human side. She was scared and alone. And I questioned myself, If I killed her was I any better? But at the same time I had to think. Can a person ever change? Yes they can, Lydia changed.

Ash

My head was banging as I sat up. What happened? Who am I? You're stupid! That's what! My wolf snarled at me. Suddenly my memory rammed into me.

"FAY!" I screamed changing into my wolf. Her scent lingered around me, but something was off. Her scent just vanished. I was scared as I realized that our mind link was gone.

"Jason!"

"Alpha. What's wrong?" He replied straightaway.

"Fay. I can't find her. I can't... I can't feel her.' It took awhile for him to reply but when he did it broke my heart.

"None of us can contact her."

"I need to find her!"

"Ash. We'll find her. I promise."

"She maybe dead. That's why I can't feel her... I'm going to kill who ever did this. I'm going to slaughter their family and loved ones as the cry for mercy."

"Ash. We'll find her. Come back to the apartment."

Lydia

"We can't find Fay. She maybe dead."

Jason's words hit me like a bullet and I fought my tears. Well everyone was trying to control themselves. FAY brought us happiness and she just vanishes out of no where.

"You're crazy! I know Fay better than all of you. She wouldn't die without a fight. There would be blood everywhere!" Katie shouted in Jason's face causing me to hiss.

"No.. Fay may be doing this to save us," Celia blankly said. "Hasn't she been acting strange?"

It hit me right then and there. That little bitch knew something bad was going to happen. She infuriates me at times. Instead of preparing for it she just let it happen.

You can't change the future my ass. We could have tried. But of course Fay is one of those people would believe everything happens for a reason. I sigh in despair.

Yet, this is fate. If Dylan didn't die I would have never met Ash and Lydia and Celia would have never met as well. I could only pray that my future was with Ash and not in a grave.

"We're here." I looked around. We were still in the woods. I looked at her confused and she growled at my actions. She was an Alpha now. Her wolf must be going crazy with power. "You sleep next to me." She stated as she changes into her wolf.

"From now on we stay in our wolf forms.' She mind linked me.

"OK"

She curled up into a ball and fell asleep. Shortly after I followed.

In the middle of the night I felt struggling next to me. Grace was snarling in pain as she slept. I growled bitting her neck so I was pining her from hurting herself. She calmed down as she started to wake up. Her pants became slower in tempo and we both lied next to each other staring at the night sky above us.

I'm guessing we were both wondering how this all happened. How two good friends became enemies. How death caused us to not become closer but it distance us into people we no longer understood.

"Fay.' Grace said. Her human side revealing itself from the wolf.

"Yes?"

"I'm really scared. I'm going crazy. I can't. I can't think clearly anymore. I'm losing my sanity. I think I lost it."
