Avoiding The Gang Leader novel Chapter 20

I ordered Mussels and shrimps with sausage with water since I haven't drank water today. I drank french vanilla coffee with my breakfast.

And Destiny ordered chopped lobster tails and spaghetti with cucumber juices.

"So Micah How's your holiday so far, you go clubbing every night. "Anthony ask with a smirk

"Naah I'm with Leo half the time. "I laugh

"I still cant believe you're dating that guy. "Destiny mumbled while twirling the spaghetti on her fork.

"Believe it, cause I am and there's nothing wrong with him. "I sighed.

"What do you mean there's nothing wrong with him, he kills and rob people."

"Have you ever seen him kill or rob anybody?"

"No but the news..."

"Not everything is true, he is my boyfriend so I know what he does and I can tell you that Leo have a heart of gold, he's good to me."

Okay Leo can be bad sometimes but I'm not going to sit here and let destiny talk negative about him

"What if you get him angry one day and he hurts you."

"Just like every other relationships we argue, mostly over dumb things, I get angry and so does he but never hurt me and he never will. Like I said you don't know him."

"Maybe you should introduce him to Destiny one day. "Anthony suggest

I swallowed my food before speaking. "I will, if you're okay with that Destiny."

Destiny nod. We continue to eat and watch funny videos on on Destiny's phone

"I have an idea. " Destiny spoke up.

"What?"

"Leo is going to come back soon and y'all are going to be stuck together like glue. " She tease

I blush

"Let's go to the club on Nuke Street tonight."

"You mean club Overdose. "Anthony ask

"Yes, I always wanted to go but I didn't want to go alone."

"I'm down for it. " Anthony nod

"I don't know guys, Leo wouldn't want me going to a club without him."

"He isn't here, probably doing something illegal right now. " Destiny rolled her eyes and I did the same.

"He has men that watch over the house at night and they'll call him and inform him that I'm going out."

"Yeah. Is everything okay, we usually talk after 11, It's 9 o'clock."

"Everything is fine, I just call to tell you I'm going to be at Aunt May's house tonight. She ummm she said she wants my company."

"Oh that's nice, have fun and call me in the morning."

"I will, I'm leaving now be safe. I love you."

"I love you too babe."

I sighed in relief after I hang the phone up.  

I went downstairs to talk to Jeffery.

"I'm going to my Aunt's house. I already talked to Leo so you guys can take the night off."

He hesitated but nod his head.

We were having fun. We saw some of our classmates from university and we all decided to hang together . It was funny watching Anthony take shots because of his reactions. Destiny is a terrible dancer, she just jumps around and lip sync but I'm glad she's having fun.  

I felt like I'm being watched. That feeling of someone watching or staring at you. My eyes search the crown to see if I can find any more family faces and just my luck Leo's men were in the vip section. I guess they decided to spend their night off at this club. The five of them were staring right at me and I looked away from their glares.   Leo will be hearing about this for sure. I suddenly feel bad and don't want to dance anymore. I place my drink on the counter and went to sit beside Destiny who was applying lipstick on our friend Abby.

In the corner of my eyes I could see them coming over. I sighed and took up my phone.  

"Hey Micah. " Jeffery said. He nod to Destiny and Abby and told  me to stand up and follow them.
