Lily trying to explain her innocence.

I scoffed. It’s no wonder she’s so deceitful. I’ve treated her like a princess, never

letting her suffer, and yet here she is.

The next day, Lily left, claiming she was going to stay with a friend for a few days. I

followed discreetly and found she had indeed gone to Karen’s apartment.

I didn’t rush to expose them. Instead, I called her to remind her to take care of

herself. As expected, she was impatient and told me not to call her again.

The following day, I called Lily’s so-called friend to confirm she wasn’t there and then

gathered all our relatives, nearly everyone, under the pretext that Lily was missing

and in an unstable mental state.

Soon, the police began investigating and quickly pinpointed Karen’s apartment. They

led us in, breaking the door open. Upon seeing the scene inside, everyone except me

was frozen.

I rushed forward, shouting, “Karen, you scumbag!”

Naturally, I wasn’t really trying to fight him. When the police intervened, I stepped
