It was noon when she appeared in the hall on the first floor of Walton Group under the big sun.
The driver took her to the basement parking lot and pointed to the car she'd been in yesterday.
"Miss Green, this is the car. I'll give you the keys to the car, I'll go back."
She took the keys and didn't know what to do.
Previously, William Walton had asked her on the phone, "Do you have a driver's license?"
She answered "Yes."
She didn't lie at all.
However, having a driver's license was not equivalent to be able to drive.
She spun around the black sedan, gave a "tsk", and prepared to get in.
Before she pressed the key, the rear door opened.
William Walton got off the car.
Laura Green was surprised: "Mr. Walton, why are you here?"
"Isn't this my car? Can't I be in there? "
"Oh, that's not what I meant. Isn't this car supposed to be sent to me for washing?"
William Walton asked coldly: "You don't know how to drive?"
She looked at him "How do you know?"
William Walton spread open his hands: "Give me the key and get in the carriage."
He got into the driver's seat, and she sat in the back. William Walton said calmly: "I never drive for others."
She thought for a moment, then stepped back and opened the front door.
He started the car. Laura said politely, "I'm sorry for dirtying your car and asking you to drive me there to wash it."
"So, I'll give you a chance to do something for me before you wash the car and we are even."
"What's that?"
"Accompany me for a meal."
She looked at him. "Eat? Forget it, I'm not hungry. Besides, it's not appropriate for me to eat with you alone."
"This car is very expensive, the blanket that you soiled yesterday is worth over a hundred thousand, it's no longer usable now. I'll give you a fifty percent discount, fifty thousand dollars, do you want to lose money or accompany me to dinner?"
William Walton glanced at her.
She pursed her lips when she saw his gaze. It seemed like she had been too sentimental.
"Hehe, that's good if you're not."
The car stopped in front of the entrance to the dining hall. William Walton pointed towards the back of the car: "There's a set of clothes at the back, go and change."
"In the car?"
"This car is very safe."
He got out of the car and leaned against the door.
She changed her clothes and got out of the car a few minutes later.
He looked at her with satisfaction in his eyes.
He pulled her wrist and naturally stuffed it into the crook of his arm.
The two of them went upstairs together, "Your task today is to laugh and eat, so don't talk too much nonsense."
She wondered why she felt that today was not just about eating.
After entering the dining room, Laura realizes that the person they were going to eat with was a woman.
