On Saturday, Laura accompanied Benjamin Walton to study in the morning and gave supplementary lessons to another student in the afternoon.
Exiting the student's house, the butler called her and asked when she would be home to eat.
She looked at the time and said, "Butler, I won't be going back to eat tonight."
The butler looked at William Walton who was sitting at the dining table, "That ... When will you be back? I'll send a car to pick you up. "
"No, thank you. I have to work on Saturday night. I'll be busy until very late. I'll just go back by myself then."
Hanging up, the butler looked at William Walton: "Mr. Walton, Miss Green still has to work, and won't be back until very late."
William Walton crossed his arms and sat there for a moment: "Investigate where she is working."
He wanted to be sure that if this woman was trying to avoid him on purpose.
9 PM. Nighttime Bar.
Laura Green dressed in a well-fitting overall, she shuttled back and forth among the crowd, ordering orders, serving drinks, moving her legs swiftly.
Amongst the crowd, she was exceptionally eye-catching.
She had a tall ponytail, a pretty face, and a slim figure. Even though she was wearing a conservative work uniform, she could still be noticed at first glance.
It was because of this that she was often stopped by guests who did not follow the rules and asked how much was her service, just like now.
She glanced at him, as usual, with the smile of a signboard, looking at him.
"Sir, I'm sorry. I'm just a waiter here."
"Pfft, don't pretend to be innocent. I need you to accompany me tonight."
"Then... Sir, I'm afraid you'll have to go for a sex change operation first. "
"What do you mean?" the young guest said, glaring at her.
Her smile was still kind. "No, I'm telling you, I like women."
The man was stunned for a moment.
According to her past experiences, the client would usually kick her off in disgust at this kind of situation.
The man was enraged. He turned his head around and shouted, "Who dares to risk his life ..."
Before he could finish his sentence, the man had already viciously been punched in the face.
He fell to the ground, clutching his aching chin.
Before he could react, he was dragged out by a few strong men.
Laura was lying there, looking at William Walton with anger, she was stunned.
William Walton raised his eyebrows, "Did you want to ask me why I'm here?"
She realized what had happened and stood up, looking at him. She was indeed very surprised to see him here.
William Walton crossed his arms and looked at her.
After ten seconds, he reached out two fingers and poked her lightly in the head.
"I'm finding that you are truly an enigmatic existence."
