Oliver refused to stay at the Blackwell family's main residence.

He preferred Halcyon Hills Residence because it still held things Isabel had left behind. He felt that if he waited there, his mother would eventually come back.

Adrian had been very busy lately and didn't have time to look after him.

However, he disliked having too many people in his home, even his own siblings and parents.

In the end, he sent Oliver to the main residence.

He let him choose some things to take with him.

Oliver packed a lot, most importantly the blanket Isabel used to use.

"Don't say that." The mention of Isabel made Mrs. Blackwell's blood boil. "That bitch is just too conniving."

Selena soothed her with a gentle voice, "I'll keep everything you said in mind. I'll definitely visit as soon as I'm free. Besides, Isabel is Oliver's biological mother, after all. I can't replace her. I can only do my best."

"He'll forget her soon enough," Mrs. Blackwell said. "If Isabel were truly a good person, Oliver wouldn't have disliked her before. He's just a child who doesn't know any better, and at this age, he wants everything. He's a Blackwell; he's bound to be a bit domineering. With enough time, as he grows up, he won't even remember who Isabel is."

Selena didn't think so.

She knew very well how much Isabel had done for Oliver.
