"I'm sorry," he said, looking at Isabel. "She gets triggered whenever that name is mentioned."

Isabel replied, "You're not the one who should be apologizing."

"I will never apologize to you," Catherine hissed, her eyes red with fury, looking as if she wanted to tear Isabel apart.

Isabel just smiled, unconcerned.

Adrian, however, said, "You treat her like this when I'm here. What did you do all those years I was away?"

Catherine suddenly went quiet.

Her younger brother was truly terrifying.

When he lost his temper, he spared no one.
