I got up from the ground, my shoulders tensed. I looked around the room to see that Dane had left. I closed my eyes as I took a deep breath. 

I just can’t believe my Dane had changed so much that he wanted to hit me. I know I was wrong for slapping him first. 

But that was just at the spur of the moment, I knew it didn’t hurt him too much, that would feel like a sting to the great Dane.

I pointed at the cell and parted my lips to speak, but words failed me. 

The guard raised his brow in confusion as he looked at where Î was pointing at. 

“What happened, Luna?” 

“Kaida……. where……. is she?” I asked as I managed to speak. 

“The alpha asked that she be taken away from here.” 

I froze. Taken away from here? 

“Where? To where?” I asked as I stared at him with wide eyes 

“I don’t know… the other guards that knew were the ones that took her away.” 

My hands dropped by my sides, I turned as I walked away from the dungeon. 

Dane had set Kaida free? Did he take her with him, he was not in his room and she was not in her cell.
