Bride For Rent novel Chapter 44

After consoling Felicity, Mercy took her up to her room and she fell asleep almost immediately. Raymond remained in his room, he didn't come out for breakfast when Gloria called him rather he ordered that his breakfast should be brought to his room where he ate silently. His words that hurt Felicity still rang in his mind, hurting him just as well, he wonders what she was doing at the moment but he couldn't bring himself to go check on her, he is not falling for her, it's going to a take a really strong woman to get him to bend and she had not yet been born, he thought as he silently scooped his food to his mouth, he doubts if he would love to see her for the rest of the day.

Katherine watched Mercy as she climbed down the stairs one step at a time, she heaved a sigh and waited silently for her to get closer.

Mercy looked at her when she was at the foot of the stairs, she silently walked up to her, they stood facing each other, not saying a word. After some seconds, Mercy sighed and began, "I'm sorry for what I said earlier, I didn't mean it. I was just..."

"It's okay" Katherine interrupted "I shouldn't have said what I said either. I knew very much that you care for her like your very own daughter which made what I said totally unacceptable. I get it, I was angry but that doesn't mean I should say those things to you. You only wants what's best for her, and you are right" she shook her head when Mercy wanted to say something and raised her hand to stop her, "I am the reason she has not recovered. But it's only because I am afraid to let her go, I don't want her to get hurt. The outside world is not a good place for her but you are right. That it's not in my power to decide, she has every right to decide for herself, she is not a baby anymore" she heaved a deep breath "so I have decided, once the contract is up, I will send her to a new country and hire a tutor for her, she will start school."

"Katherine..."

"No" she sighed "the tutor will help her, guide her and teach her the necessary things."

Mercy smiled warmly to her, her little Katherine has grown up, she closed up their distance and hugged her "I just hope I'm not too late to decide that, I just hope she will get better after getting the exposure she needs. I don't want to fail her parents, I don't want to fail her. I want her to be a desired woman, I want her..." She broke down in Mercy's warm hug.

"It's okay. You are not too late. Felicity is a smart girl and should she get a force to push her to do something, she will do her possible best to be perfect in it. I know her, we both do. She will be the woman we both want her to be, you will see. All it will take it's time, and time is what we will give her" she released from her hug and wiped away her tears with her fingers "Felicity will be a woman. I promise you" she smiled.

"Thank you Mercy, for being here. I can't ask for any other person."

"And I always will be."

The two women smiled and hugged each other again. They then had their breakfast and Katherine left right after Felicity woke up from her nap.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. Before they knew it, Felicity has only but one more month to live with Raymond. She is just as she used to be except that, her innocent naive heart was no longer hers and what about the man she so love? He doesn't give a damn about her.

Raymond lived through to his words to avoid Felicity and to his greatest surprise, it wasn't that hard to do. Or so he strongly believed. He knew all he had to do was get her out of his mind and hook up with a lot of girls like he used to and things will go back to normal. Each night he spends with a different girl in his penthouse, he hardly visits his mansion anymore and that means that Felicity will go two to three weeks and sometimes a month without seeing him.

She had complained the first time in her own way but Raymond had said a sentence to her that she will never forget in her whole life "why don't you become a woman, maybe then I will consider staying with you like before. But now, I won't like to be arrested for child abuse."

She had went to Mercy that day and repeated the sentence to her, although Mercy said it means nothing, she didn't believe her and so, she had called her only friend, the one who she was sure will tell her the truth, Grace.

When Grace heard from her, she had wanted to play angry at her and not wanting to honor her invitation but after remembering that she will get to see Raymond again after how many months, and not forgetting how he had responded to her seduction that other time, she couldn't do anything but to let go of her anger.

Felicity told her about Raymond words to her and Grace promised to turn her into a woman, making Felicity really happy.

Since then till now, she was still turning Felicity into a woman and had even used it as an excuse to live in with her. Unfortunately for her, whenever Raymond returns home, he locks himself in his room and he leaves the next day before any one wakes up and so, Grace never found the time to execute her plan.

Hana and Desmond was alerted two months ago that Raymond's father got into an accident and so left to go stay with them and support Raymond's mom, leaving Raymond temporarily in charge of the Baldwin Empire.

Does she think about him every night?

Does she miss him?

Does she miss his kisses as he misses her lips?

Does she want to touch his sausage again like he wants to feel her soft palm on him?

Does her nipples burn for his kisses like his mouth and tongue really wants to have a taste of hers again?

As if wanting to torture him more, his mind picked up that one and only night in her bathroom, on their wedding night.

How she responded to his kisses even though it was all a new feelings to her. How she pushed herself to him, how she arched her back.

How she shudders at the feeling of his lips on her skin.

The soft moan that escaped from her mouth.
