He suddenly stood up, glancing at his dark phone screen before forcing an awkward laugh. "I just remembered I have something to do, so I won't stay any longer. I've disturbed your meal enough."

Sylas crossed his arms. "Need me to see you out? It's not because of me, is it?"

He put on a dramatic show, covering his mouth in feigned shock and innocence.
