Sebastian’s hands, hanging at his sides, clenched into fists. “I’m just seeking the truth. This isn’t about bullying.”
Queena’s sharp eyes studied his face, and she saw something there. Her brow furrowed. “It seems I need to sever the connection between you two. You’ve wounded Natty too deeply. You’ll be the death of her, her utter destruction. If that’s the case, then I’ll cut the ties myself.”
“You dare?” Sebastian’s eyes blazed with murderous intent as he threatened her. “Queena, I’ve had you investigated. If you dare interfere with my marriage, I will make you regret it. I will turn your entire spiritual retreat into a pile of rubble.”
But Queena was not afraid. “Go ahead and try. But I will not allow my best friend to be torn to shreds.”
Queena had made up her mind.
Sebastian’s threats had failed. He balled his fists, veins popping on his arms. A powerful, cold aura radiated from him, sweeping through the room like a storm.
Queena frowned but stood her ground.
Just then, Natalie emerged from the bathroom, dressed.
“Queena, let’s go.” She walked over and grabbed her suitcase.
Queena saw how fragile she looked. She took the suitcase from her and followed Natalie downstairs.
On the first floor, Sebastian’s phone rang again. It was Joanna. He glanced at Natalie’s downcast figure walking ahead of him and ignored the call.
“You’ll ride in my car. Natalie, you’d better not try any tricks.”
Queena snapped, “Shut up, you bastard! Can’t you see how unwell Natalie is?”
Sebastian’s gaze was glacial. “I see someone who’s afraid.”
Natalie’s head shot up. “Where is Joanna?”
Luna was already there, waiting.
When Natalie got out of the car, Luna approached her. “Miss.”
“Is everything ready?” Natalie asked.
Luna glanced at the car. “Yes. The man is inside, and the video has been sent to Marshall. If that idiot still doesn’t believe it after seeing the video, I’ll find a way to take him out myself.” Luna’s voice was cold. Keith had already prepared everything on his end.
Natalie smiled and patted her arm. “Don’t worry. Marshall isn’t that stupid. We’ll go in first. I’ll call you when it’s time to bring him in.”
Luna understood and forwarded another video clip to Natalie’s phone.
Sebastian’s car drove straight through the gates. It took Queena and Natalie a bit longer to walk in.
