I pull back for a minute, the loss of our mouth contact makes him grunt slightly but we're both gulping in air greedily.
And I know I said we are each other's oxygen previously, this is in a romantic way but we both still need our actual oxygen.
Our foreheads lean against each other, both of us lightly gasping for air, our hands still moving slightly on each other.
The sparks never ceasing.
We stay like that for what seems like ages until I rub my hand across his cheek, my thumb pad making unknown patterns. I ask ever so sweetly, "So is all forgiven babe?"
He scoffs but after a minute of me giving him the 'puppy eyes' he sighs and nods.
Oh god, he's so whipped.
I then go to unwrap my legs from his waist, wanting to have a shower, but he tightens his hold on them - making me wonder what he's upto.
His hands trail lower on my waist, so they're now positioned on my bare arse - I shake my head inwardly, not ready to do anything further yet.
I push him away, he takes a few steps back and looks wide eyed at me. I shake my head and head into the kitchen without another word, I hear him rushing into the kitchen behind me as well.

"I'm sorry, my wolf was excitable and then took advantage. You know I'd never do anything if you weren't ready, I'll wait - we have forever." He says genuinely.
My back is facing him, I'm leaning against the counter facing the cupboards, I nod my head hoping that will ease his mental suffering with his wolf.
I don't want him to see me in this state, the tears silently and solemnly leak out of my eyes, without permission. They dampen my heated cheeks, they slide over my puffed up lips.
The way his hands travelled just reminded me too much of what happened, the fact that he doesn't know what happened, the scars covering my body - it's all too much for him to know at the moment.
Ashton nods his head gingerly but I feel the tightening of his fists with the material of my shirt when he hears of another man or men's hands on me, I know this would bother him and his wolf.
I know it would if the circumstances were reversed--
Damn right we'd be angry, I'd go looking for the man stealer right away! My wolf interrupts my trail of thought at the mere notion of another man on me, I then chuckle inwardly.
I gently remove myself from Ashton's steel hold and mumble my plan about showering and then going to bed to relax, I quickly peek at the clock and see that it's just after 6pm.
I walk upstairs and go to my room, once I'm there I quickly strip out of my clothes and jump in the shower - relishing in the warmth of the water cascading down my body.
I massage my scalp gently with the shampoo draining off my hair and down my silky skin, I get out after doing the usual.
I shiver once I get out, I hate that feeling of getting out the warm shower into the bathroom which may not even be cold but it seems it.
