Once the cage is opened, he hurriedly but carefully pulls me out. My groans filling the silent room and his reaction a cringe. Once I'm fully out, my bloody state occupies his view. He gasps and immediately pulls out medical equipment.
Due to the immense pain I'm already feeling, I barely feel whatever he's doing. His hands moving at rapid pace to stop my bleeding. I lie back and look at the ceiling, my eyes starting to close until I hear Gareth's panicked voice.
"No Adella, keep watching me." He says and hovers over me, so his eyes are directly above mine. His hand cupping my cheek wearily and his head reassuringly nodding to me.
I nod my head slowly and moan when he returns to his operation of me, the pain getting gradually worse. He's now focusing on my leg, his eyes widening at my wound.
"What?" I ask, my croaky voice filling the air. He looks into my eyes and they hold worry and he shakes his head.
"Nothing, except this is going to hurt." He replies and I close my eyes and clench my fists. Waiting for the torture to come but it never does. I open my eyes again and see the room filled with men.
"Your time is up Doc." One man says with a monotone voice.
"But I need to get this out, she'll die otherwise." He stutters and fumbles with his coat at the big presence of these men.
"Well tough luck, out. Now." He orders and before Gareth can make a move, two men grab his shoulders and drag him out.
He kicks and screams as they do, trying to get back in here and finish the job. Everyone files out the room until there's only me and the one man who spoke, and put the knife in my leg. He stalks towards me and I don't bother to shuffle back from his reach.
Once he reaches my position, he squats and hovers beside me. His tall figure intimidating my small and injured one. He has a sadistic smile covering his lips and his eyes have a mischevious glint in them.
I look at him with a straight face and wonder what he'll do. His finger laces my hair then leaves to my arm, this then moves down to my leg. His fingers gracefully grab the handle of the knife and slowly twist it.
I'm now awake again and quietly groaning at my unhealed wounds, the silver in them causing the healing process to be disabled and the fact that I don't have any aid from Gareth, makes me decline drastically in health.
My stomach covered in dry blood and a gaping wound, my right thigh containing a knife and also dried blood. On my left thigh, I have a big scar from the bullet wound, then my legs are also streaked in the red substance, but mostly my inner thighs.
I've been lying in the same location for the whole time, not having enough energy to move. Having had no food or water for at least four days. I haven't heard from my wolf for the same time either, which is extremely worrying as I've heard this is the start of the death process.
I sigh restlessly and feel the need to move, feeling useless and stupid for not doing anything. I feel the saliva growing in my mouth and get an idea, despite it being small it still is one. I start to gather it in large amounts in my dried mouth and spit it into my hands. I then immediately transfer this to my stomach wounds and the pain eases after what feels like ages.
I carefully and slowly shuffle to the wall, which is about five yards away, and lean my back against the wall and sigh in relief. The pain slightly having improved from the saliva and my sitting position. The saliva, containing enzymes that help the healing process, lessening the soaring pain.
