I wanted to be able to shift, but not like this. Like the usual way where it's natural and painless, this time mirroring my first time.

Ben is now standing off to the side of the bed. I was so deep in thought, that I didn't realise I was fully changed. I look down at my paws and shake my fur out.

I jump off the bed with shaky legs but then bound around the room, my legs returning to their usual self. Ben kneels next to me and rubs my head softly, scratching behind my ears.

"Run?" He enquires and I bark in return, before running out the door and down the stairs.

As I run down the stairs, I feel like a child on Christmas Day. I'm running round, yipping and barking at the simplest things.

I'm sitting on the grass with my head on my paws when Ben walks out the house and closes the door. I've only just realised that he's only wearing low hanging boxers.

He shifts swiftly and walks over to me, sniffs me then nudges me playfully. Suddenly, he sprints into the forestry and leaves me standing there. I quickly follow his lead and smell where he is.

His broad size allowing me to spot him further ahead. I gradually catch up to him, my strides lengthening out to reach his fast paced run.

We stop at the top of a hill. One that allows us to look out over the lakes and trees running through my land.

May? Are you there? I call in my mind, trying to locate my wolf in the dark, black pits.

Why has this happened to me? Answer please. I plead my wolf, hoping she can hear me. Wherever she is.

After no answer, yet again. My mood is dampened at the remaining loss of my wolf. I lift my head into the dark sky and howl.

I howl with all my power, my emotions thrumming through the loud, spreading noise.

I hear answers to my howl, from the warriors on border control in the North, East, South, West to the male sitting next to me.

Ben and I head back to my place and he returns the room he's been occupying, much to my confusion, and I return to mine.

I shift back into my human form with much more ease than the change earlier. I change into sweats and one of Ashton's hoodie, I'm about to climb into bed when there's a knock on the door.

"Yes?" I call and once again, this morning, Ben's head pops round the ajar door and questions, "Please may I come in for a minute?"

"Good night Ben." I reply and the door clicks shut.

I rest my head on the pillow and think about all the weird happenings in the past few days.

They're the last thoughts I have before I'm whisked into the land of dreams.

I feel my shoulder being moved gently but I groan lowly, grab the hand and bring it in closer to me. I feel hot breath fanning across my cheek and snuggle into the warm hand.

"Luna." The voice sounds into my ear and my eyes shoot open, meeting unexpected eyes. Realising that this male wasn't my mate.

"Oh, um, Ben, sorry." I stutter and look down at our position. I let go of his arm and my cheeks warm in embarassment as my actions fly round my mind.

He coughs to break the awkward silence and then says, "I've awoken you with thirty minutes until our departure. Also breakfast will be ready in five minutes." Then he saunters out of my room and I rub my face in attempt of riding my cheeks of scarlet, spreading blush.
