Jasper froze. Silence hung for a few seconds before realization struck. "Isn't that the club for overseas tycoons? The one that made headlines for inhumane and illegal trades? Its members are powerful figures from across the globe—foreign royalty, even Mosgravia's military chief is rumored to be among them."

"That's right," Cyrus confirmed. "From what I found online, only high-ranking members carry this badge. Lower-tier members use poker cards as proof of identity. To reach the innermost circle, one must be recommended by a high-ranking member. At least, that's what the information suggests. I can't say for sure how accurate it is."

He then added, "Oh, wait. There is one other way to enter the innermost circle—through the resignation or death of an original high-ranking member. In that event, the person they recommended automatically inherits their seat."

A sudden realization struck Jasper. "Could Justin have orchestrated Zachary's murder, playing a double game just to inherit his spot as a high-ranking member of the Kings' Club?"

It was as if a veil had been lifted from Cyrus' eyes. "Actually, that makes perfect sense. It finally gives us a definitive motive!"

"But he failed to find the gold badge on Zachary," Jasper noted. "That just goes to show how rushed he was when he struck. He didn't have the time to do a thorough search."

"Justin lost all his power domestically," Cyrus analyzed. "His laboratory base is in ruins, his authority at the Beckett Group is gone, and he's been stripped of his inheritance. He's like a cat on a hot tin roof right now, desperate for a way out.

"The Kings' Club possesses the exact kind of elite resources he craves. Of course he's willing to do whatever it takes—even commit murder—to force his way in."

Taking a deep breath, Cyrus' tone turned solemn. "Jasper, I'm telling you all of this because I have a plan."

Jasper's voice remained low and steady. Reading Cyrus perfectly, he asked, "And your plan is for me to use this badge to infiltrate the core of Kings' Club?"

"You won't be fighting this battle alone," Cyrus replied firmly. "Axel and I will be with you. As chairman of Beckett Group, your presence there will raise no suspicion. Still, this is only a contingency plan. If the police can prove Justin's direct link to Sheryl's death, we can convict him outright without having to risk everything. That's our best-case scenario."

"I'm willing to risk everything if it means making Justin pay." Jasper's resolve was unshakeable. "I don't care if I have to walk into the deepest pit of hell or the lion's den itself. I'm going all in."
