With the arrival of fresh morning new relationships came to life. The fresh breeze of the new beginning brushed Kiara's pale tired face. She stirred stretching her arms on her side. She trailed her palm on the side of the bed under her semi-conscious state. "Raven!" she sat on the bed with jolt as the side of the bed was empty.

She looked at the wash room but no voice came from inside. Billy was sleeping in his cradle while the windows was perfectly curtained so that no sun light can creep inside the room and disturb her sleep.

They were open in the last night. Raven may have closed them, but the question was, where was he?

Kiara's heard started throbbing loudly. Hasn't he decided to abandon her!

Many such emotions filled her heart, and she inhaled a deep breathe controlling her self. "What am I thinking!" she spoke to herself recalling their conversation they had before consummation.

Kiara was still scared. A part of her heart was freaked out not wanting to be left alone like previously but the same heart assured her, everything was right.

She looked for her phone hurriedly. Her fingers dig inside her pillow and pulled the phone out in a swift. She dialled Raven's number and waited. After three rings he picked the call, "Hello" Raven answered.

"H-hello, where are you?" Was all she asked whilst holding her heart.

She heard him excuse himself and take a nervous pause. Raven cleared his throat before he began, "I am at the hospital. Uh, actually... Shania attempted suicide. She is in a critical condition."

"What!!! Is she... Is she okay? What did the doctors say" She asked him while pulling herself out of the bed with the crumpled sheets around her body.

She sensed Raven another pause before he replied, "Nope. She is not okay. As I said, her condition is critical. She not only drank poison but also slit both of her wrists and crashed her car on the main road in the outskirts. Luckily, she crashed into Payton's car, so he immediately brought her to the nearest hospital." he sounded nervous.

However, it was another shock for Kiara. Firstly, the news of Her husband's ex-wife stunned her and then, the disclosure of Payton and his car being hit by Shania's, slipped the earth from beneath her feet. "What! Is Payton injured top?" she inquired crossing her fingers.

"NO, he was not in the car when she crashed hers into his. He was away and therefore he was able to take Shania to the hospital." Raven answered her.

Kiara was dazed, she did not want to trust that it was freaking real. This was because she was unknowingly the reason behind Shania's attempt to suicide. Although she felt extremely awful about it, she thanked the lord that Billy was not with her any more or else, he could have been there within their car too!

Never mind, after exchanging few more information Raven disconnected the call and heaved lightly. He walked back to where he had stood previously, beside Payton. "You think she'd make it?" asked Payton pulling the cuffs of his shirt up to his forearm.

He was unharmed. The piece of car that had hit him did give him never fading ache in his head though.

Raven looked at him tiringly while he swigged his saliva. He nervously chewed his bottom lip, "I am sure she will. She is a warrior." He answered, Payton nodded in second since he knows she was indeed a warrior. "That's right I and her never made a great couple but I never want her to have such end! I will do anything to save her, she's my child's mother, I won't let her die so easily." Payton impressively smiled at his answer.

He felt good hearing his words. Even after having shared an unsuccessful relationship, he was praying for her quick recovery and her well being.

(In the early evening)

The guys were famished and extremely exhausted. They sat across the wall on the floor next to operation theatre waiting for doctors to come out. They have been busy carrying out Shania's surgery.

In the mean time Raven also called her father who bust into tears on the other side of the phone. He had to go out of the town to attend an important meeting and during that phase, Shania attempted to kill herself.
