Yvonne possessed zero tolerance for Skye's ridiculous behavior.

"If I were you, I'd hold off on the bragging," Yvonne mocked. "She gave you a single slice of cake, and you're already losing your mind over how sweet she is."

Star had saved plenty of things for her over the years, but she never bragged about it the way Skye was doing now.

"I am giddy! And I'm going to brag!" Skye retorted. "You used to show off Star all the time, so why can't I? Hmph!"

It was true that Yvonne used to flaunt her bond with Stella. Whenever Stella did the slightest nice thing for her, Yvonne would be over the moon, treating her like the world's most precious little sister.

And now that Skye believed she had found her own version of that dynamic, she couldn't resist rubbing it in Yvonne's face.

But Yvonne effortlessly shot her down. "Is she even your sister-in-law yet? Why are you bragging already?"

"Why wouldn't she be?" Skye snapped, instantly defensive.

Tegan might not be married to Finley yet, but it was only a matter of time. If Finley dared to mess this up and lose her, Skye was fully prepared to break his legs.

"Are they married? Did your brother even successfully ask her out?" Yvonne challenged. "If I were you, I'd be looking up dating tutorials for Finley right now so he can memorize them. Don't let a great catch slip away just because he's an idiot."

"Hey! Watch your mouth, Yvonne! Do you just hate seeing me happy?"

Skye absolutely despised the idea of Finley 'losing' Tegan. If her brother ruined this, she was going to skin him alive.

"I'm saying this because I want you to be happy," Yvonne replied lazily. "I'm just reminding you that your brother's emotional intelligence is practically non-existent."

Skye couldn't argue with that.

As much as she hated to admit it, Finley was a brilliant doctor, but utterly hopeless at everything else. And after his recent handling of Stella's medical situation, Skye was starting to suspect he might be a terrible doctor, too.

"Go find some tutorials," Yvonne ordered.

"You just wait!" Skye practically growled. "When my brother marries Tegan, I'm going to rub it right in your face!"

With that, Skye aggressively hung up.
