"Then why did you bring her back here?"

"Where do you live?"

Stella sighed. The Sena Islands were over a thousand miles away, and Philly was another thousand miles in the opposite direction.

"Why didn't they call your phone?"

"I left it in my brother's car."

Stella massaged her temples. This was a complete disaster.

She looked at Idris. "Can't we just buy her a plane ticket to Philly?"

"I don't have my ID," the girl whimpered, looking like she was about to completely break down. "And even if I got there, I wouldn't know how to find them."

Stella, Susanna, and Tegan all exchanged bewildered glances. So she was completely stranded.

Idris knew exactly why Stella was pressing for details. She was worried this girl was a plant, especially with the wedding happening tomorrow.
