"Stay close to me, and don't speak," Juniper instructed, adjusting a stray piece of hair on Shanley's head while going over the rules.

"Understood."

"Sigma Network and Subterra Vanguard teamed up to create this new micro-camera. It looks exactly like a strand of hair and can bypass any security scanner." Juniper carefully wove the specialized wire into his hair, securing it in place. "I want to see exactly what Sanctum Holdings is hiding."

"You're putting a lot of effort into taking them down," Shanley noted, his dark eyes unreadable.

"They tried to kill you," Juniper stated, her gaze lifting to meet his, a cold, protective fury flashing in her eyes. "Anyone who touches what's mine pays the price."

Shanley’s lips twitched upward. He loved the sound of that. Though, 'my husband' would have sounded even better.

"Why didn't you just let the real Luella come with you?" he asked, still curious.

"She's too clumsy. If she tried to record them, she'd get caught in five seconds."

Hearing Luella get insulted instantly improved Shanley's mood.

Somewhere else, Luella sneezed violently.

Just like last time, Sanctum Holdings charted a private flight out of Eclara City. The moment they stepped off the plane, they were ushered into a vehicle with blacked-out windows.
