After successfully ditching the Sanctum Holdings tail, Juniper and Shanley headed straight for the Cybernetic Shadows headquarters.

"Extract the footage," Shanley ordered, handing the micro-camera to Felton before leading Juniper into a private room.

After a tedious process of removing the adhesive and washing off the makeup, Shanley finally peeled the mask off.

He threw 'Luella's' face onto the table with absolute disgust. He didn't want to look at that tomboy for a second longer than necessary.

"All done? Let's go." Juniper changed into her normal clothes and turned toward the door, only to have her wrist caught in a firm grip.

She paused, looking back at him in confusion.

"You promised me something this morning," Shanley said, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her flush against him. He lowered his head, his gaze intensely focused. "Pay up."

"Promised what?" Right now, all Juniper cared about was the footage on that camera.

Shanley's brow twitched. He tapped his lips, clearly annoyed. "Kiss me."

He had refused to let her kiss him while wearing Luella's face. Now that he was back to normal, he wanted his due.

Juniper stared at him, her lips parting slightly in disbelief.

"What? No words?" His frown deepened, completely dissatisfied. "You were all over me when I looked like Luella. Now that it's just me, you've got nothing to say?"

"Alright, alright." Juniper blinked, feeling somewhat wrongly accused. She went up on her tiptoes, gave him a quick, placating peck on the lips, and patted his chest. "There you go. Happy?"

"Better." Shanley smiled, his mood instantly improving. He caught her hand, kissed her knuckles, and led her out. "Let's go watch the video."

Juniper rolled her eyes. She never realized how insanely jealous this man could be. She couldn't wait to see the look on his face when he eventually found out Luella was actually a woman, and he'd been throwing a tantrum over nothing.
