Michelle's face was ashen. She stood there rigidly, her mind racing as she tried to figure out who this girl was. Could she actually know Miss Seven?

"Let's make a bet. Your so-called mentor won't take you on as a student," Juniper paused, her tone growing even more mocking. "Actually, no. She wouldn't take you as a grand-student."

Since Michelle was the mentor's student, the best Sheryl could ever be was a student's student.

"Who do you think you are? Do you even know who Miss Seven is?" Sheryl clenched her fists, her eyes bloodshot as she fired back. "You only act this tough because you have Mr. Schwartz backing you. I might not be able to touch you now, but one day, I swear I'll make you pay."

"I'll be waiting." Juniper gave a faint smirk, raising an eyebrow. "Anything else? Mr. Landon?"

"I'm good," Lionel shrugged, looking toward Barnaby. "Mr. Yardley, do you have anything else to add?"

Barnaby's face was a stormy gray. No matter how furious he was, he knew very well that Juniper was untouchable for him. If Michelle hadn't insisted on seeing the girl who beat Sheryl with her own eyes, he never would have sought a direct confrontation after eating so many losses. Sheryl, too, was an idiot. She could have provoked anyone else, but she just had to lose her cool and go after Juniper right now.

"Alright then." Seeing that Barnaby had nothing to say, Juniper slowly stood up and tilted her chin toward Hattie. "Let's go."

"Okay," Hattie's brain was completely fried. She scrambled to her feet, keeping her head down and following nervously behind Juniper. As she walked past Sheryl, she made sure to steal a quick glance. Pfft. Such great skin. Radiant with a rosy glow—and an awful lot of purple and blue bruises.

Once they were out the door, Hattie finally took a deep breath and whispered, "Juniper, your aura back there was insane. You left them completely speechless."

Juniper stopped in her tracks, standing still in the hallway.

"What's wrong?" Hattie stared at her, thoroughly confused. "Isn't the show over?"

"Not even close." Juniper's lips quirked up as she pulled out her phone and opened her email.

Sure enough, there was a message from exactly a week ago. The sender was: Mimi.
