"Yeah, you better go get that checked," Harold chimed in, perfectly reading the room as he added deliberately, "Any later and..."
It might just heal on its own.
"Hey."
Lorelei nudged him gently, whispering, "Don't ruin the setup."
"I'm not."
Harold grasped Lorelei's hand, smiling softly. "This setup is rock solid. It can't be ruined."
"Exactly, hurry up and go check it," Warren and Celine urged as well.
"Oh my god, it must be a terrible burn," Coralie slapped on an overly dramatic expression. "Melvin, you can't be hurt, otherwise I'll cry to death, boo-hoo-hoo."
Coralie covered her face, naturally spreading her fingers to peek through the gaps.
*I'm crying.*
*Just kidding, I'm acting.*
Ebony Fox stood firmly in place, her expression grim as she watched a room full of terrible actors.
"Ebony, have some cake." Kurt scurried over to her. "You stepped out to take a call and missed it, so I saved you a slice."
Ebony Fox glanced at it, utterly disgusted. "I don't eat that garbage."
She was extremely disciplined and absolutely refused to touch anything high in sugar and fat.
"Water then? What do you want to drink? Wine? Coffee or Coke?"
"Ebony..."
"Did you strap a typewriter to your mouth? Why do you talk so much!" Annoyed, Ebony Fox glared at him coldly. "If you have nothing better to do, go run ten kilometers outside."
"!!!"
Kurt's face dropped. He immediately snatched some tissues, wiping down a spot here and dusting off a spot there.
Pretending to be extremely busy.
Ebony Fox opened her mouth but held back. Considering it was a good day, she refrained from cursing him out.
Kurt was truly the worst student she had ever taken on.
If it weren't for Mr. Schwartz, she would have honestly kicked him a few times.

Meanwhile.
Janet had already supported the "weak and fragile" Melvin into the resting room.
"Juniper, you need to come in and look at this!" Janet called out to the main room while frantically trying to help Melvin take his shirt off.
