Juniper stopped in her tracks and looked back at Ebony Fox.

Juniper rested her chin on her hand, speaking in a drawl. "Don't tell me you can't find your own bowls, Ebony Fox."

"Ah?" Ebony Fox scrambled frantically. "No, I'm just looking."

Shanley sat next to Juniper, leaning in to whisper, "Kurt is here."

Juniper asked, "How do you know?"

Shanley gestured toward the glass on the table. "I can recognize the smell of that Spiced Almond Milk anywhere. Kurt stole that recipe directly from me."

"You've got quite the nose on you." Juniper playfully nudged him with her foot. "And here you said you only found out recently. It seems you played a pretty big role in helping him win her over."

"I'm innocent."

Shanley grasped her hand with a roguish smile. "Maybe the Schwartz men are just hopeless romantics. We naturally know how to woo a woman."

Juniper raised her perfectly shaped eyebrows. "Look at you, getting all proud."
