"Coming right up!" Abriella chirped from the kitchen. Seconds later, she hurried out with two platters of fresh vegetables and set them on the dining table. Krystina quickly dried her hands and rushed over to help set out the forks and plates. Sylvia tried to lend a hand, but before she could even touch a dish, Abriella intercepted her.

"Oh, stop it! You just got out of the hospital, you are still recovering. Do not cause trouble here!" Abriella waved her off playfully, shooing her away like a mother hen. "Go sit on the sofa, or go keep Emmy company. I just have a few more things to prep and we will eat!"

Sylvia offered a helpless smile and obediently followed Emmy toward the balcony.
