Sylvia's expression instantly turned incredibly dark. "I never asked you to bring me to your place." Her voice was freezing cold, her defensive posture resembling a hedgehog with all its spikes raised.

Steve raised an eyebrow, stood up from the sofa, and closed the distance between them, stopping just a few feet away. "Ms. Moore, let's be reasonable here. Who was it that got completely blackout drunk last night? You are lucky I brought you here and protected your reputation.
