Fay touched up her makeup before returning to the main hall. She had barely taken a few steps when she spotted Reese and Kay seemingly searching for something.

She immediately hurried over. Kay instantly shot her a look of displeasure.

"Ms. Langley, didn't you say you would come find Reese in a bit? She's been waiting for you for a long time."

Fay pouted, scoffing inwardly. So what if she made them wait twenty minutes?

Did she really need to act like it was the end of the world?
