After Sylvia went home, she took a shower and changed into a new outfit.

Lester Sanford arrived just in time to pick her up.

In the afternoon, the two of them went to see a movie together. During dinner, Lester mysteriously said he wanted to give her a gift.

Sylvia thought he was planning to give her flowers again.

"Lester, I really don't have any more vases at home for flowers, please spare me."

"Flowers? You could say that." Lester smiled meaningfully.

Sylvia didn't think much of it, just planning to see if any supermarkets sold vases on the way back.

After dinner, Lester suggested going for a walk.

Sylvia followed him to the restaurant's back garden.

It was decorated with lots of lights, looking very dreamy.

However, apart from the two of them, there were surprisingly no other guests.

"Why is there no one else?" Sylvia asked curiously.

Lester stopped and looked at her earnestly, "Because tonight it's only open for you."

Sylvia was stunned. Suddenly, the sky above her lit up, and fireworks bloomed.

She looked up at the night sky, her face illuminated by the brilliant display.

Lester stared fixedly at the woman in front of him.

No matter how beautiful the fireworks were, they couldn't compare to her smile.

The joy rippled at the corners of her lips, brushing against his heart like a feather.

Her eyes glistened, pulling him in with just one glance, making it impossible to extricate himself.

Lester reached out and pulled her into his arms, holding up a diamond ring in front of her.

"Sylvia, will you marry me?"

"..."

Sylvia looked at Lester, completely caught off guard.

She had never thought Lester would propose to her.

By the time she snapped back to reality, Lester was already holding her hand, preparing to slip the ring on.
