I frowned and looked at the caller ID. It was Ava who called.

I looked at Anthony in the reception room through the glass, and Anthony happened to be looking over.

I pointed to my phone and motioned for me to go out to answer a call.

Anthony smiled and nodded.

I took the phone out and answered the call: "Hello!"

"Aurelia, I'm going to be discharged from the hospital today. After all fracture can also be taken care of at home." Ava's voice was cold, but she was inexplicably angry.

I frowned, "Did something happen to you?"

Ava did not want to hide it from me. She told the truth: "Elias has been pestering me, and I don't want to be hospitalized."

I immediately understood. I went to the hospital a few times and saw that Elias had been hanging around Ava's ward.

Whether he really liked Ava, or if it was just for fun, Ava had someone she liked, so she would definitely not be able to bear his tireless disturbance.

I nodded, "Okay, I understand. I'll come and pick you up later."

Ava shook her head, "No need, you're busy these few days. I'll go through the discharge procedures myself."

I said angrily, "I'm not that busy yet. Just wait, I'll come over later"

Ava's home was not in Mediopolis. After graduation, she stayed here to find Cole. It was impossible for me to let her go through the hospital discharge procedures.

After hanging up, I went to look for Anthony.

When Anthony saw me coming in, he smiled and stood up, "You're done calling."

I nodded, "Director Rivers, why are you here? To see the ordering process, you have to go in the afternoon. Everyone should be going to lunch now."

Anthony smiled and nodded. "I know. I came to look for you at noon. I just wanted to have a meal with you. You saved me a few days ago. I haven't thanked you yet."

I didn't expect this. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "Aren't you afraid that I'll eat out?"

Anthony chuckled, "Then I will invite you to dinner."

I couldn't help laughing: "Alright then, let's have lunch together, but I have to go to the hospital first and help my friend go through the discharge procedures."

Anthony raised his eyebrows, "It's that friend with a broken arm."

I nodded.

Anthony smiled and looked at me: "It's lunch break now, and I'm not a client, so you don't need to feel embarrassed. How about this, I'll have someone handle her discharge procedures, and we can go together for lunch. You can then drop her home, and we can go see the jewelry customization process. It should work out perfectly."

My eyes lit up and looked at Anthony gratefully, "Thank you, Director Rivers."

Anthony smiled, "Don't be so polite, we're friends."

I smiled and nodded.

I and Anthony went to the hospital, picked up Ava, and went to a restaurant near the hospital for lunch.

After ordering, Ava got up and went to the bathroom.

I and Anthony were chatting in the private room.

Ava's expression was a little unnatural. She did not want to say that it was Elias in front of Anthony and me.

She said directly, "It's a client of mine."

If Ava said it was a friend, I would not believe it, but if she said it was a customer, I would understand.

Ava's online alias was LX, and she was a highly skilled hacker. Ordinary people couldn't easily get her help.

After eating lunch, when we came out to pay, we were told that our bill had also been settled.

I looked at Ava and said, "It's your client too."

Ava scolded Elias in her heart and nodded, "Mmm, it should be."

Anthony smiled and looked at me: "It seems that I have another reason to invite you to dinner."

I smiled. The three of us went out and just took a few steps.

I suddenly saw a white kitten nest in the grass by the roadside and meowed weakly.

Because the kitten was white, I immediately saw that the kitten's leg was injured.

I walked forward and bent over to look at the injured kitten. I couldn't bear it. "It's so pitiful."

When Lukas and Elias came out of their meal, they saw me and the three of them not far away.

They just took a step forward when they heard Anthony say, "If you like it, you can keep it."

Lukas subconsciously looked at me who was squatting on the ground, and heard my voice extremely clear: "I also want to keep it, but I live in someone else's house now, which is not very convenient."
