My fingers curled over a piece of her brown curls. I stared absent mindly at her plump lips. Her eyes were closed her lashes curled at the end sticking up.
"I don't think your friend likes me." She mumbled. Her eyes still closed. My brows burrowed.
"Which? I have multiple." Her lips curved and I itched to kiss them suddenly. Her eyes fluttered open and her brown orbs stared up at me.
"Ha ha very funny." Her lips pursed. "The girl. Lovetta her name is?"
I felt my eyes widen slightly. "Shit!" I cursed. "You talked to her? Where was she?"
Nicole sat up and watched me. "She did tell me she hasn't talked to you in a few days. Something gone between you too?"
I stared at Nicole but not literally. I wasn't even watching her, just facing her as my mind wandered.
"Y-yeah I mean no." I groaned. "Nothing to worry about."
"Neville if there's something between-"
I cupped her cheeks. "Nothing is going on. She slept over after helping me with my work and then I woke up to her gone."
I left out the part of dried shit on my bed. Or whatever the hell that shit was.
"I believe you." She smiled leaning in. I pressed my lips gently against her, but I wasn't feeling it.
"Why were you with her?"
Nicole shrugged. "I just saw her, went to say hi, and she just walked away."
"What did she say?" I asked curiously. Nicole watched me but shrugged.
"Something about I shouldn't ask her anything."
"What were you asking her?"
She scoffed. "Neville, I feel like I am suspected of crime. Last time I check you don't have a badge and I don't have any criminal past." Her brows raised. "Or do I?"
"I'm sorry babysitting?!" I yelled through the phone. Few people glanced at me and I looked away apologetically. I was in the train station thank full the service.
"I'm sorry but I really need you to watch him for me Love!"
I rolled my eyes and chewed on my lip. Mickey and I decided we would never talk about the little, 'Incident' That happened between us. Neither of us were thinking clearly and I couldn't be more happier to agree with him. So it was normal between us.
Not for long.
"I swear to god I will fucking chop off your dick and feed it to your ass hole!" I hissed.
A few kids behind me gasped. I looked at a crew of high schoolers. I smiled sheeply and waved turning back waiting for the train
Mickey laughed and I groaned. "I'll pay you."
My eye's lit up. "I'm listening."
She chuckled. "Ok so he is my nephew. My brother has a important interview and the babysitter canceled last minute. His only option was me-"
""Mother?"
"Dead. Died in a car crash. She was pregnant but the doctors was able to save the baby."
"Great. Now I am guilty."
"Just for a few hours. I promise he is a sweet 3 year old."
I sighed.
"There is a 3 train to new lots avenue approaching the station!" I looked at the tunnel. "Please stand clear of the doorway."
"Your in the train station? Where you going?"
"To a Interview with the new York Times." I finally gotten a email back from them saying there happy to coordinate with me about my writing in person. "I won't have internet obvisouly, but I should be home around 5 if not later. Drop him off."
"5? Damn."
"Is there a problem?"
"He might have to sleep over. You still keep that key in the whole in the wall?"
I gasped. "How do you-"
"I found it. Don't ask how. Just answer?"
"Yeah."
"Ok good, i'll be in your house by 3."
"Whatever."
I hung up and slipped the phone in my purse. I stepped inside the cold train greeted by people stares.
I sighed and leaned against the closed doors on the other side. It stinked in here but I could breathe.
I heading to the closed door. I felt someone grab my wrist and I glared at the guy.
"Honey please calm down." He leaned closer and I suddenly felt scared. The glint in his eyes was not welcoming.
His hands suddenly cupped my cheeks and I gasped. I was too in shock to move.
"I could give you a lot more than you ever dream off. Don't do anything you would regret."
He whispered in my ears. His breath tickling my neck in the most unpleasant way. His breath smelt of the bowl of mints on his desk.
I snapped out of my shock and grabbed his wrist yanking if off my body. I pushed him away from me and raised my hand to slap him. He grabbed my wrist and his head tilted.
"Aw why would you try and hit me sexy?" His eyes flickered to my chest and his lips traced over his disgusting small lips.
"Such big-"
I used my other hands after dropping my jacket and purse and punched him with all my strength. I was surprised at such strength I had that made him fall back.
What amused me the most was the fact that he sat up rubbing his jaw, Bald.
His head was so bug and shiny that I covered my mouth from snickered. The door was wide open now and I could feel eyes on my back.
"You - you little bitch! Do you know who your messing with!" He screech his voice squeaky and girly.
"Nice head." A guy mumbled as he walked past us. I turned to see who it said it then back at Mr. Melvin.
He touched his head and his face grew red as he tapped his head searching for his wig.
"MY HAIR!" He yelled. I rushed out his office and out the building as quick as possible.
"His hair fell off?" Mickey burst into laughs and I Laughed along with him.
"It was just a weird situation. I felt so disgusted yet I couldn't help but be glad. Now I know I wasn't about to work with such a pigfull company."
"I am sorry that happened to you, but not everyone is like that. One day you would get the world too see your story."
I nodded and started looking around. "Where's the baby?"
"What?" Mickey looked at my bed and his eyes bulged. "Holy shit."
"Mickey?"
"Fucking hell! Enel! Where are you!"
