I never saw my reflection differently. I wasn't aware of what people thought of me when they see me in the streets, especially when I was with Neville. I never saw the side looks and the worry in my father eyes as I ate over what I could handle. My closet changed rapidly and I wasn't aware. Maybe because he always blocks the outside world when he is near. God how he grew up. I didn't know what the little butterflies were in my stomach that fluttered when he arrived. His chocolate curls was sticking in every direction. His pillow lips was parted in a half pout. The mole by his hazel eyes and the one in the corner of his lips just stayed there. My head was prompted up on my arms as I stared at him sleep. His chest rise and fell with each breath. I wanted to kiss him but I was scared he would wake up. My hands traced the outline of his chest as inconsequential as possible.

When he stirred I retrieved my hands and poked his cheek to be discreet. "Wake up."

His face crinkled the outline of the pillow on his cheek. He peeked over at me then dropped his face back on the pillow.

"Wood gorging." He mumbled. I laughed.

"wood gorging to you too."

He looked at me and laughed. "I meant good morning."

I tilt my head, my hair falling in my face. "Did you really?"

"What you mean?"

I shook my head. "Nothing. I'm hungry lets go get breakfast!" I crawled over him and he groaned. I quickly got off of him as quick as possible, scared I would squish him.

"Your always hungry." He joked. I rolled my eyes. "Please, look who's talking."

He reached for his shirt and slipped it on. I frowned but quickly smiled when he looked at me. "Food is life. And me living is called life so lets go!"

I rushed out my room and down the stairs to the smell of pancakes. My dad looked at me and smiled. "Good morning Love bug."

"Dad!" I whined, pushing myself in the chair. The table moved a bit making a few things fall. I reached over not aware of the look on my father's face.

"Good morning Leon." Neville said groggily. My dad laughed. "Good morning son."

Despite our ages, Our family still allows us too stay over one another houses. Though I am still home schooled, and Neville goes to a actual school, We are still close. He even sometimes let me hang with his friends.

"How much pancakes Love?"

"5."

Silence filled the room but I was too busy fixing my shirt. I looked up too see a forced smile on my father's face. I looked over at Neville too see him on his phone. I leaned in and he moved his phone.

"Aye! No peeking!"

I frowned. "Why? Have a secret girlfriend?" I said in a jokeful tone but hoped he didn't. He face grew pink and he looked away, Soon he glanced at me and flicked my forehead.

"Shoo Bug!"

I rolled my eyes and digged in to the plate of pancakes that was just placed in front of me.

"Slow down Bug." My dad whispered. I glanced at him and did as told...

"I am running late! I'll be around later Bug!" Neville grabbed his sweater. Before closing the front door he turned to us, "Thanks for the breakfast Leon!"

"My dad laughed. "Good kid." He murmured. Good kid indeed.

"I want you to solve the equation-" My dad flipped through the thick ass textbook making me gulp, "9x - 7i >3 (3x-7u)"

he looked up at me and watched me watch him. Is he mad?

"Whaaaaaa?"

He rolled his eyes and dropped the pencil in front of him. "Just answer the question."

I re did the gesture he did and wrote out my work for solving that equation.

"I love you."

He looked up from his phone. His brows raised. "I love you too now solve the equation."

I shook my head. "I don't love you I mean the answer is I love you!"

He looked confused as he flipped to the answer sections and found it. He rolled his eyes and I bit my lips to hid my smirk.

Suddenly my stomach growled. "Dad." he looked up. "I'm hungry."

His face dropped. "Love I think we need to talk..."

I looked at him. What's too talk about? I am hungry!

"Your gaining a lot of weight." He said bluntly. My cheeks heated as I indistinctly touched my stomach.

"Its not healthy." He continued. "You could put weight on your heart leading to heart transplant or heart attacks or such more." He dragged his face with his hands. "I can't stand by and watch you eat constantly and going closer to your death bed."

My eyes glisten as I saw his eyes full of worry. I nodded slowly and bit my lips from quivering.

He sighed and touched my hand. "I don't mean It to be rude Love, I mean it to keep you safe."

My body froze when I had a feeling on who it was. "You ok sweet heart?" Natalie voice drifted pass my ears as I numbly nodded and placed a seat at the table. When everything was set, My dad passed the plates, Ms. Stanford poured the drinks, ignoring Mr. Stanford protest about letting him doing it, and Utensil's were set. Now what was left was Neville and his guest...

His Girl Guest.

"We shall just start, I know that boy. His feet are hot and can never be cooled down." Ms. Stanford joked. Everyone hands joined together as we bent our heads and prayed.

After we were done, The door bell rang and voices were heard.

"Its me!" His voiced called out. He appeared in the dining room smile so wide it almost looked as if it might drop and right besides him was a tall girl, with red hair and a bit too much makeup on for my liking, but overall she was beautiful. And she was Slim. Is these the type of girls Neville like? My heart broke and my frown deepened as I looked at all the food on the table and then at my over growned stomach. I am far from Slim.

The girl Green eyes flickered over to me then back to Neville parents. They walked over and took there seats by one another, hands still interlocked.

"This is Rose-" pretty like her "My girlfriend" Of course.

"Rose these are my parents Natalie and Johnathan, This man over here is a close friend of the family Leon Smith and" He pointed to me a huge smile on his face, "Is my bestfriend since little Lovetta Smith, Leon daughter."

She looked at me and gave me a small nod while giving everyone else a huge smile.

Through out the whole dinner All everyone could pay attention to was Rose. She was everyone's dream girl. Smart, Beautiful, Funny, (Not to me) Clever, And lets not forget Slim.

But I was grateful for the distraction...

Despite the beautiful girl next to me I couldn't help but notice something off about Lovetta. Her once Chocolate brown eyes that was so filled with life was now dull and expressionless as she stared in one spot constantly spitting into a napkin. Every bite, turns to every spit. Her pale skin, Dark circles under her eyes. I suddenly feel a bit guilty as I notice how different she looks since I last saw her. Actually Saw her.

Her eyes flickered to me and gave me the most fake smile I ever saw plastered on this girls face.

I mouthed, 'What's wrong' but she looked away as if she hasn't seen me asked her a question.

"So who is up for dessert?" My mother cheerfully asked. Rose declined and I saw my mom lips scowl but quickly broke into a smile. "Love? You up for my favorite Devil cake?"

Everyone looked over at Love, especially me. I didn't Not notice it. How her eyes discreetly flickered to her father then at me before going back to my mother.

"No thank you, I am really full." She laughed and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ears, dropping the napkin on the table. She quickly grabbed it and pushed it in her sweater pocket lowering her gaze elsewhere... What is going on with her?

I was about to ask her if we could talk alone when I felt a tug on my shirt. I looked over at Rose green eyes. "Come on." She whispered. "We'll be late for the movies..."

I nodded and forgotten all about Lovetta when Rose smile grew in my eyes.

"Excuse us," I said without tearing away my gaze from Rose. I stood up along with her and never once remembering what I was about to do. It was as if she had some sort of spell that couldn't break off of me...And I have no chance of wanting it to ever happen.
