Spotting Marina, Amy greeted her warmly, "Good morning, Marina!"

Marina smiled and nodded. "Did you need something when you came over in the middle of the night yesterday?"

Amy froze, then her face registered complete shock. "I came over to your place?"

Marina was even more confused. "Yeah."

Seeing Amy's genuine surprise, Marina started wondering if she had hallucinated the whole thing.

Amy looked deeply troubled. "I am so sorry. I have a sleepwalking issue. I have absolutely no memory of what I did last night. I didn't hurt you, did I?"

Marina was left speechless.

For the next two nights, Amy showed up knocking on her door in the dead of night. By the third day, Marina got off work an hour early and packed her bags for The Riverside Apartments.

Her assistant helped her move. It was twilight again. The assistant looked out at the river and smiled. "Boss, this apartment really is better. The view is absolutely stunning!"

Marina brewed some milk tea and set it on the coffee table. Looking around at the familiar furnishings, something just felt off.

She paused, then told her assistant, "Keep looking for a new place for me."

The assistant was surprised. "Why? We just got here! It's super close to the office, and the neighborhood is way nicer than the last one."

"Just do as I say," Marina replied.

"Yes, boss." The assistant didn't dare argue.

Marina swapped out all the bedding, even stayed up late changing the curtains, and then drove to a nearby mall to buy new home decor and plants. At first glance, the place finally looked slightly different.

When she went to wash up before bed, she noticed Carson's toothbrush and cup still sitting on the counter. She picked them up and mercilessly tossed them into the trash.
