"So… what's this about me having to plan out tonight's gathering?" I asked him as we walked hand in hand down the stairs.

"As the Luna of the pack, it's your duty now to do the planning of all events that takes place in the pack. Mrs. Kala and Remus usually handle it but since you've finally accepted to be my Luna it won't be necessary anymore." He said casually as if it was the most easiest thing to do but I was freaking out. I forgot completely about the fact that the Luna is the face of every pack gathering. It was a huge problem for me because I was not social or outgoing. The pressure of being in the spotlight drives me nuts.

"Bu... but I'm not the Luna yet." I stammered as I tried to keep composure. I swear if he wasn't holding my hands, I'd have tripped and went tumbling down the stairs already. I thought I wasn't even allowed any Luna duties until I did the ceremony, which according to Wolfgang, won't be for another two more weeks. I still had to learn a lot about protocol and stuff like that.

"Well, not officially but you've become our Luna the moment you accepted me as your mate." He said with a shrug.

I came to a freezing stop. I couldn't move. I was rooted to the spot. "I… I don't think I'll be able to do it. What if I mess up? Wolfgang, I can't do this." I said as I felt my limbs tremble. I think I was about to get an anxiety attack.

"Hey… hey, hey, hey. It's gonna be okay." He stopped also and stood before me. Even though he was two steps bellow me, because of his height we were now both on eye level. He held my face between his palms, gently stroking my cheeks trying to calm me with the mates' touch, which were really doing its effect. The sparks emanating from his touch caused a soothing tingly sensation and I slowly started to feel my heart rate decrease. "You're stronger and wiser than what you think. You'll be able to do this and anything that comes your way." He reassured me, and somehow, I believed in every word he said. "You're gonna do great Rory, I trust you will."

I blinked twice looking at his face dumbfounded.

"What did you say?" I asked him unsure if I had actually heard correctly.

"I said you'll do gr…" He started to say but I cut him off.

"No. what did you call me?" I asked and I saw him get flustered as he looked down to our feet and scratch the back of his head.

"Oh, um… Rory." He sheepishly said as if he just committed a serious crime.
